Become one of our Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart of any non-profit organization and help the Columbus Arts Council greatly.
One way to volunteer with the Columbus Arts Council is to become a member of our volunteer guild. The volunteer guild meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. and is open to anyone and everyone.
Another way to get involved is to become a member of our Gallery Committee. The Gallery Committee is responsible for hanging each exhibit and jurying in new artists. The Gallery Committee meets the third Tuesday of every month.
You can also check out the volunteer section of our website to lean about our numerous opportunities. If you would like to receive our volunteer application, please fill out the information below and we will contact you.

Thank you for your interest in becoming one of the Columbus Arts Council's artists! Artwork is juried into the CAC by a sub-committee of the Gallery Committee (a committee of the board of directors) Please review the "CAC Call for Artwork" document linked above to ensure that you follow all of the steps required to get your work juried in. The "Committee Review Document" linked above shows the criterion which is used by the sub-committee to jury work into the CAC gallery.
The sub-committee meets on a rolling basis when there is work to be juried and the artist will be notified once the process has been completed.
The application process is free to artists and once you have been accepted the sales percentage is a 70%, 30% split. If you are having difficulty in the application process do not hesitate to call 662-328-2787 and we are happy to answer or help with any questions. We are here for the artists and to support local up and coming artists.
